Your content is yours.

AIWaterMarkCheck is designed for one-off checks. We process your submission, return an explanation, and let it go.

What we receive

For image or audio checks, we temporarily receive the bytes needed to validate and inspect a file. For text, we temporarily receive submitted text. For a website scan, we receive the URL and retrieve that public page’s HTML directly from its host.

What we do not keep

We do not retain uploads, pasted text, submitted URLs, fetched HTML, extracted metadata, hashes, reports, filenames, or raw IP addresses. Temporary processing buffers are deleted after each request. Rate-limit keys expire automatically and cannot reconstruct your content.

Provider verification

When OpenAI provenance verification is enabled, image or audio bytes are sent to OpenAI solely to perform that provider check. The resulting evidence is returned as part of the transient scan and is not retained by this service.

What appears in logs

Operational logs contain only content-free measurements such as request type, duration, status category, and error code. They do not contain your file, text, URL, metadata, or report.

Your browser

Results are held in your browser’s memory until you refresh or leave the page. Copy and Download are local browser actions; no report is uploaded to us.
